I grew up in Iran with a natural curiosity and an entrepreneurial spirit that has shaped everything I do. From an early age, I was drawn to challenges that required deep thinking and problem-solving. This drive eventually led me to pursue my master’s at TU Delft, where I honed my ability to tackle complex engineering problems. The more difficult the challenge, the more energized I become — there’s nothing quite like translating theory into practical solutions that actually work.

Ten years ago, I founded Wyndtek, driven by a desire to be an independent engineer and break the mold rather than follow the system. I wanted a space where I could explore innovative ideas, apply my knowledge without limits, and shape engineering solutions from the ground up.

I thrive in highly dynamic environments where precision, creativity, and computational power come together. The sound of GPUs humming at 2 AM, simulations running, and code executing perfectly — that’s my happy place. I am constantly looking for ways to challenge the status quo, automate repetitive tasks, and integrate AI to improve efficiency and quality in practical applications.

Equally important to me is sharing knowledge and building strong teams. I take great pride in mentoring colleagues, transferring the expertise I’ve accumulated, and fostering a culture where engineers can push boundaries and solve even the toughest problems together. With a strong work ethic, a love for high-compute engineering, and a relentless drive for improvement, I aim to turn the most intricate, theoretical challenges into robust, real-world solutions.

With over twenty years of experience in the offshore industry, I have distilled the process from design to construction into my core professional value. The direct connection to real-world application is what engineering is ultimately about. What drives me is creating solutions that not only work on paper, but also prove their worth in practice — where steel, people, and precision come together.

I’ve spent countless hours in fabrication halls, witnessing firsthand how a well-thought-out design translates into efficiency, safety, and craftsmanship in execution. Offshore, I’ve experienced the dynamic world of lifting operations from floating vessels as a true adventure. The moment when shackles, grommets, and slings slowly come under tension — transforming from apparent chaos into one perfectly orchestrated line — captures the essence of engineering for me. When an immense platform finally lifts off its jacket, it feels almost anticlimactic; the real challenge lies in the preparation, rigging, and perfecting of every detail.

With a passion for heavy steel, developing smart methodologies, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, I strive to return — in a world increasingly driven by FEM analysis and digital complexity — to the essence: strong fundamental knowledge. This allows us to distill complex situations down to their simplest first principles and translate them into practical, robust solutions.

I aim to use my experience to bridge the gap between design and execution, between theory and practice — contributing to projects that not only make technical sense, but truly work in the real world.
